ROUGH DRAUGHT PLAYWRIGHTS

Open to all Colorado writers producing pieces for theatre (plays, musicals, monologues, performance art, etc.), Rough Draught Playwrights is an artistic, collegial playground for testing new work in front of an audience, hearing fellow playwrights’ latest creations, and relaxing with intoxicants while following the muse.  

RDP strives to help playwrights hone their craft and find connection to each other and to the audience through the immediacy of a live reading.   We love to introduce writers, directors, actors and producers to one another, because we believe that the more we build these connections, the more our entire theatrical community benefits.  

Created in 2012, Rough Draught has presented 70 different Colorado playwrights including national award winners to our audiences.
